Rom. 5:4-5

Romans 5:4-5

4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

Yes, patience works "experience" in me. As I WAIT on You…living each day one day at a time, I learn by "experience" the great truths of Your Word…I learn by "experience" the purpose for living – to love You and to EXPERIENCE YOU! And EXPERIENCING YOU is a great blessing
which works in me a HOPE! Hallelujah!

5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

I understand, Lord, that some with this illness end up committing suicide, and I can certainly understand why. And especially those who have the symptoms of depression would be prone to this. It has been said, "The difference between AIDS and CFIDS is that AIDS kills you and CFIDS makes you wish you were dead." I think sometimes the same can be said of MCS. I don't really wish to die just yet, Lord, but sometimes when the going gets real rough, I long for Your arms of love and HEAVEN, my home.

EXPERIENCING YOU has worked in me a HOPE that I will not be ashamed of in the end…a HOPE that is more than just a "hope" like we usually think of (like I hope I'll make it to heaven), but a HOPE that is TRUTH and REALITY – a HOPE that is a sure CONFIDENCE and an "anticipated pleasure and expectation" – as the Strong's definition of "hope" indicates. Yes, YOUR LOVE is a "gushing and spilling forth" in my heart by the Holy Ghost which You sent to be my COMFORTER, when by grace I gave my life to You because You gave Your life for ME. Thank-You for Your love that I know and feel and for the promise that someday my suffering shall be ended by Your coming for me in the clouds or by Your coming for me in death. Someday my hope shall be turned into REALITY – total and beautiful wholeness and
wellness in the arms of Jesus! Hallelujah! Maranatha! Love, come quickly!
