It Was Dark…The Sea Arose…Jesus Spoke…My Heart is Calm!

John 6:16-21

16 And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea,

17 And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now DARK, and Jesus was not come to them.

18 And the SEA AROSE by reason of a great wind that blew.

Lord, last night when I went to bed things were "dark" and the "SEA AROSE". Even after I stopped the sauna treatments Monday night after my bouts with palpitations, my symptoms seem to keep multiplying. Lord, what's wrong?

Is all this happening because I quit the acidophilus for a week or so or is the sauna hurting me? Did I have a horrible exposure that is lasting a long time or is the estradiol killing me? Lord, last night it was indeed DARK…very dark…new scary symptoms..so many questions
with no answers…and I went to bed with very little hope and tossed and turned and woke at intervals all night long.

19 So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlings, they SEE JESUS walking on the sea, and DRAWING NIGH unto the ship: and they were AFRAID.

Yes!

20 BUT he saith unto them, IT IS I; BE NOT AFRAID.

Yes, Lord…I was afraid…even this morning…UNTIL YOU SPOKE! YOU SPOKE, and You gave me HOPE again! Thank-You, Lord!

21 Then they WILLINGLY received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land wither they went.

Yes, Lord, I willingly receive You! You are my only HOPE! Guide my "ship" safely to shore!

Lord, I am also meditating on a recent sermon I heard. He said the disciples had entered the boat without Jesus. They had not WAITED on him. And because they refused to wait, they found themselves in deep trouble…Maybe Your Word to me this morning is just to WAIT…to
discontinue the sauna and WAIT a bit...

Isaiah 40:31:

But they that WAIT upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint."
